Really enjoyed listening to Shep's "Heising Modulation" episode at Near-Fest last week.  I finally found the Jean Shepherd episode we listened to years ago at Hosstraders - the one where he was operating in the field which by his description, was obviously a SCR-284/BC-654, and a mysterious alien station breaks into the Signal Corps training net and drives the NCS crazy by sending obscenities, causing a total breakdown of net discipline. It was indeed the "Code School" episode.
