I was in The Big Red One. Their home is Fort Riley, Kansas. Those uniforms were used until July, 1957 when new recruits at Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri were issued the new type green uniform. I was there.

I know some of you guys are die hard collectors and perhaps into uniforms. I have what I believe is a set of 1943 Army uniforms. The Ike jacket with small corporal chevrons and the Big Red One, size 38, also the khaki shirt with Big Red One, and the trousers size 34/34. Yeah I know few of us fit that size anymore but there might be a few. All were dry cleaned and in really nice preserved shape. No Ruptured Duck over the pocket. Photos available. Open to offers or trades for comms stuff. If no interest can anyone recommend a re-enactors group?
