[MRCA] M&S Today

Operated from a clandestine location today somewhere within the state of NH with the PRC-1099A and compromised antenna system... a random wire antenna about 40 feet long run along the interior ceiling of the top floor of a brick building with a wooden roof...  grounded to a radiator pipe.  The radio was powered by the PRC-PS.  


Signal Reports:

WB2JWU - weak readable100% copy

KK1K - weak partially readable 50% copy (Thanks for the hello to Yuki.  I will say hello to her when I get home)

WA2EJT - Nothing heard
? - Nothing heard
NN2K - Nothing heard
K1JHM - weak readable 100% copy

KD3HT - nothing

WA2WOL - transmission detected, not copiable
K2AJR - Lima Charlie


this location has a high noise level... fluorescent lights, equipment noise, etc plus I suspect there is some steel in the structure, metal window frames and other stuff that doesn't let signals in and out easily.


This compromised setup provides nowhere near as good results as the RT100 + BWD90 setup at home.
