I'm not conversant at all on this particular line of equipment but in 
the late 70's, I recall, CAP got a huge load of what really looks like 
this stuff.  There were no high-power amplifiers, however.  The 
equipment was made by General Dynamics and was said to have been removed 
from SAC comms facilities, such as silos, and replaced by newer 
equipment.  Does this jibe with what you all know about this equipment?  
We (CAP) never used any of it as the receiver/exciters we got were very 
low power output.
