Hi guys, new to the list here, mostly been lurking since joining.
I would like to get a better signal on the Moose and Squirrel net.. I'm
up in Northwestern VT not far from Dean, KK1K.
I am guessing that based on the coverage of the net, some sort of NVIS
antenna for 60 meters would be my best bet from home.. I've currently
got an Alpha-Delta DX-CC dipole and two Alpha-Delta DX-SWL slopers for
shortwave, one beaming 180 for SA and one beaming 45 for EU.
I don't really want to put up ANOTHER wire antenna ( nor is my wife
enthusiastic about the idea, considering the tribander and satellite
yagis in the front yard and the 2-meter EME array in the back yard )
but I would like to be able to participate more in the M&S nets.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance and VY 73,
Bob W1ICW
I'm also looking for suggestions for CW frequencies.. I've just restored
a CIA RS-6 set and planning to order up a few more rocks for it .
