Couple pictures of this past Saturdays Moose and Squirrel Net operation. Operated from back of property using the M151A1 to transport everything that includes the Sunair PRC-108, the Wilbert push up mast and an inverted V cut for sixty meters. The MEP-015 in the back of the jeep was not used but lives in the back of the jeep to get it out of the way, thought it was a good idea to store it back there at the time but turns out not an easy thing to move around by yourself so now it goes wherever the jeep dose. The Wilbert mast has a ground plate that you park a vehicle on top of and pushes up to thirty feet or so, easy to set up and take down by yourself but not military. Considering buying a set of mast poles and guy cables at the next Hamfest (Manassas) and maybe trying to put up pole creation to support the antenna but somehow think that may be a lot of work, not certain if that can be done by one person also. Maybe we can have a mast assembly class this year at Gilbert for the uninitiated? Or can someone point me to a FM for putting up temporary pole structures?
