[MRCA] URC-4

I would like to get a URC-4 going on 144.250. I suppose I could get a bunch
of 9 volts and a c cell going. What are other people doing for batteries? I
saw these little nixie tube supplies on ebay that have enough voltage,  but
I'm not sure they have the current handling ability.

Any wisdom or information would be great.
