I recall once finishing off a CW
QSO when my key broke by vocalizing a keyed tone into the mic it didn't sound half bad.

I apologize for the keying and chirp but am experimenting with keying the set on CW , the set was designed for voice ops SSB suppressed carrier. I did not have any crystals for 3.570 so I used my trusty Northern Radio Master Oscillator for injection and an interesting result is injecting either on the high side or low side I can choose either USB or LSB.
