Paul is aware of this from our previous correspondence, but I have a 
complete and working ACL SR-502-1  0-30 Mhz HF receiver.    It uses a 
film-tape dial readout in addition to the nixie-tube frequency 
display/counter and a full range of filters.   You can see some pics of 
it (including the tuner module where a mixer failed and had to be
replaced) here:

I've not been successful in finding any technical documentation or other information about this HF receiver, but based on its scarcity, wonder if it may have been a prototype or limited production item.
