Ray, Thanks for that kernel of good info. I'll look things up and see
what's about. I'm 99% certain that the 6C4, in this case, is for the
meter as it (the meter) is hooked up with dividers between the plate and
cathode of the 6C4. What I've not traced back yet is where the grid is
tied to. What I hope is, is that its merely a vestigial hook-up such
that I can simply remove the added components and proceed from there.
I'll let you all know.
