Questions about the BC-1306 power? I did not have a secret PE-237
hidden under the table. I utilized a home brew power supply with an
older GE Exec mobile HV supply as a inverter for the B plus. Low
voltages for filaments were obtained using the usual adjustable LM 317.
I've used these inverters to power GRC-9, GRC-109, RS-1, RS-6 etc. This
particular supply is still being tested and the large resistor with the
red tape is on "test status". The red tape is to remind me of the high
voltage. :-) An AUX socket on the side powers the RCA AVR receiver or
any other device. The supply weighs about 10 pounds , the BC-1306 is
about 20 pounds. Don't ask me about the French.
