Yes, I'm definitely experienced here.   The rule is to always modify (hammer
or dremel) the cheapest parts first.   

Sorry, I don't know much about the G-43 though. 

By the way, the same rule applies to automobiles and guns.

The G-43 I use with my GRC-9 is annoyingly wobbly, mostly in the horizontal
plane. There are a number of places in the seat assembly that look like they
should be tightened. Before I start randomly hammering on things and
drilling out rivets, do any of you have experience here?
