[MRCA] Gilbert Rally

One heck of a rally.  Congrats to Steve N3NNG, Dale KW1I, Dean KK1K, Al 
N3FRQ and the rest of the MRCA staff.  The displays ranged from Pogo 
Sticks, BC-1306,  Coast Watcher Radios  to modern equipment and all were 
superb, activities including field exercises, transmitter hunt, 
presentations, and plenty of time to chat with your fellow collectors,  
nightly dinners, "late night activity" in the Howard building  and a 
catered breakfast    -     -     -   a breakfast that utilized  that 
portable stove  which makes that terrible scary whooooosh sound when it 
fires up. Kinda reminds me of the flight line  chow tent  at Ban Me 
Thout. Looks like Pete WB2JWU, Dean KK1K , and Zorro K4che established a 
new  "non elevated" URC-4 to URC-4 distance record.
  And N3FRQ established a first URC-11 to URC-4 distance record.K4CHE 
established a new distance record for Delco 5300/PRC-64  series being 
powered entirely by a hand crank generator.  :-)

Don't know who made the longest journey but think it was   Jack Antonio 
followed by  Joe Munson. Next would be Chuck WD8AXA
