[MRCA] Moose and Sq Net Antenna and Reception Report

Very nice signals, most  stations were S3 or above including WB2JWU, 
noted was the very loud signal of NN2K/2 mobile in front of the Dollar 
Store , he had an excellent signal for a mobile antenna. Loudest signals 
today were Justin KA3TIN and N3FRQ, W2DGB and WA2EJT all of which 
represent a short path.


WA2WOL knows how to instantly troubleshoot his system. . .    His audio 
was excellent after repairs.

My antennas today, Antenna 1(half wave doublet) was  a half wave cut to 
frequency, antenna 2 was my horz loop 200 plus feet.   Most stations   
gave me a better report of Antenna 1(doublet).
Here on the reception side  my antenna 2 (loop) gave me 1 or 2 S units 
over the  Antenna 1 (doublet).  Both antennas were matched and power  
output was the same , instant switching via a coaxial rotary switch .The 
antenna number 2 (doublet) report  as being better is  just the 
opposite  of my experiment 2 months ago where as the loop got better 
reports.   :-)

Thanks for the reports. The band is shifting over to winter and the 
leaves are falling.
