[MRCA] Prc47

Recently acquired a PRC 47. 
Beautiful set
The literature I have found states it transmits in USB only.
This makes it usable on 60 meters ham.
All the other bands it covers are LSB.
So of course my question, not being an expert in any of these areas, can it be switched to LSB? 
Anyone have any experience with the 47 I would love to hear from you. 

Also I have been trying to find a working RT-524 for a reasonable price.
