Now that's an idea I hadn't considered, John.  My only reservation would 
be that the entire ART-13 alignment procedure is done with the tool 
attached.  If there were parts of the procedure where you used the motor 
to spin the dials, then it might make more sense - but even then there 
is plenty of room for it to spin around.  Then too, usually when you 
have a disengagement capability on a tool, you make it a positive click 
so that there are no "accidents".  I never say never, though.  
Well...almost never...

Jeep, you might want to keep that longer screw for a while - maybe the 
crank does fit the ARC-1 or some other piece of Collins gear in some 
way.  I haven't had time to peruse the ARC-1 manual.
