[MRCA] Mystery Tool?

One thing puzzles me, and that is the screw.  The depth of threads in 
the end of the line shaft is only 1/4", according to both K4CHE and 
WF2U.  3/8" would bottom out before you could get the tool clamped down 
enough to do much good...it would be flopping around on the end of the 
line shaft as you used it, causing all sorts of grief.  That's one 
reason I made my own.  And is that a #4-40 in your photo?  Looks larger 
somehow, but it may be the magnification.
