Group,

Just got around to looking at what I thought was an old AM antenna with triangular spacers. Turned out it is a collapsible tower.
Neither N3ARU or I could figure out how to assemble it. It is an Astromast, stainless steel, Model 16020, made by
Astro Research Corporation of Santa Barbara CA in 1970 which has since become part of Northrop/Grumman.
I attempted to google it but my computer froze.
The tubing unfolds like a geodesic dome. It has a series of steel cables ending in bead lock connectors (like you used to find on the pull chains for an overhead light). My best guess, for the base unit and three additional sections, would be a mast of 10' to 15'. The serial # is 001.
Any help appreciated,
Roger - k0rmk
