I would NOT recap it. If brought up slowly, thereby reforming the
electrolytics, it doesn't need it. All you need to do is apply HV DC to
the HT1 pin and ground and bring it up in roughly 25 VDC steps, starting
from zero, at about 1 step per hour. Take the bottom plate off so you can
see. If any electrolytic gets warm, stop at once. No filament power, of
course. On a MK II, you can use the FP switches to select the "A" or "B"
and IC. I reform them one at a time. In a MK III, do each separately.
"B" set dogbone??????
There is only 1 dogbone to the PSU. On a MK II it has 6 pt connectors. The
MK III uses the 12 pt; the 6->12 and 12->6 are aardvaarks and are used in
mixed systems.
There are two spares kits for the WS19; brushes and key, and tubes.
You need at the very least the Working Instructions. They are easy to get.
Next, you should have Wireless for the Wrrior, Vol 2; If you really want
to get into the set, the EMERs are available, if you are willing to beg
and take a bunch of BS.
Best,
-John
