There are several WS19s and power supplies. At a guess, you probably got a
US made Zenith MK II lend-lease set. All the others are pretty rare in the
USA.
I am very familiar with the sets, so if yu have questiond drop me a note
off-list. Meir is also pretty savvy.
You should reform the set's capacitors so it powers up gracefully. Thius
can be easily done with a variable PS ans some clip leads.
The big filter cap in the PSU MUST be reformed or it may well go bang!
There may be two different cable types. The one with the two right-angle
Pye connectors is for the "A" set. The one with 1 straight; one right
angle is for the "B", and yes, there is a difference.
You MUST use the set with the variometer. It is part o the output circuit
and w/o it you will splatter all over the band.
