[MRCA] Current mil radios with AM equivalent

I want to do a demo of a WWII radio with some current US military.  What
manpack radios in current use could I tell them to bring, that would do an
AM equivalent on 3.9Mc?

Line of sight(hollering distance) is all we need to do.
