[MRCA] RT-524 Parts

BlankThanks for all the responses. Finally got back to troubleshooting some more before I acquired any replacement parts,

Found the problem to be the final tube.  Should have recognized the tube fault earlier when I measured a positive voltage for grid bias when in transmit mode.  Probably an interelectrode short.

With the tube replaced the radio is transmitting now and can be used, but there is a loud whine in the transmit audio.  I have heard this whine before in other RT-524's, but never this strong.  

Anyone have any experience with this symptom?

Currently repairing a RT-524 (basic variant) for a military vehicle club member.  Nee the power supply module and the diode sub-assy.  Let me know what you have or where you suggest I go to find what I am looking for.
