[MRCA] MRCA September Meet Announcement

BlankThe Military Radio Collectors Association is having its annual meet 
again concurrently with the upcoming Red Ball Military Transport Rally and 
Swapmeet at the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert, PA on Friday-Saturday 
September 20-21.

We will have use of the Howell Building and the immediate surroundings again 
for our displays, radio set-ups, parking, tailgating and camping.

Exhibitors can set up on Thursday afternoon.  They must have exhibitor 
passes to gain access to the fairgrounds.  The pass will be available for 
download from the MRCA website in September.

Long range (10+ miles), medium range (5 miles) and short range (1-2 miles) 
comm ops are scheduled during the meet. Radio gear will be displayed in the 
Howell Building.

The Red Ball gate fee -$5, MRCA registration fee - $5, and MRCA tailgating 
fee - $5 (sellers only) will be collected by MRCA staff and participant 
badges handed out.

If you are planning to come please email kw1i at earthlink.net so a laminated 
badge can be prepared. A good way to promote this event is to email your 
radio display and radio ops plans to the MRCA reflector, 
mrca at mailman.qth.net , to initiate discussion.
