[MRCA] Idea for TRC-77s

WD8AXA Chuck and I were talking the other night about our younger days of low power CW operations away from the home QTHs. We reminisced about PRC-64 use and TRC-77s. 



We agreed that the TRC-77 could be improved by having the IF bandwidth reduced. 



Has anyone tried an IF filter replacement to narrow the bandwidth on a TRC-77 receiver? Chuck thought the IF was 455 kHz. 



Does anyone know of any other useful modifications to the TRC-77 HF CW transceiver?
