Hello Mark,

As you may have deduced from the deafening silence, not many of us have
delved deeply into PRC-25. I have some fairly superficial experience
with PRC-77's.

These are sophisticated pieces of electronics, and are considerably more
involved than, say, an ARC-5 receiver.

As you stumbled on to, once you have proper power, and it doesn't work,
the first thing to do is re-seat all the modules and connectors.

My next step would be to get the -35 TM, and work my way through the
trouble shooting "buzz charts." See:
http://www.radionerds.com/index.php/AN/PRC-25

You'll likely need an oscilloscope, and maybe a signal generator, in
addition to a DMM and a counter.

Good luck,
Al
