Gang,

I just got back from setting up our area at the MTA meet. Thought I'd
have to move the X in the picture below, but my guess was good. We'll
have room for 3 or 4 MILITARY VEHICLES, sign in with the authorities.
If you have display material for drop-off, beg your way in. You should
count on putting your civilian vehicles in general parking.

I'm going to try to be there by 9AM Saturday. Pat Lombardi and Gary
Decker are on site.

See ya,
Al

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:

Our annual gathering at the Military Transport Association meet at the
Sussex County Fairgrounds in northern NJ is this weekend.
See: http://www.mtaswapmeet.us/

We will, once again, have a designated area in the reenactor area on the
northwest side of the site, across the road from the main vendor area.

X marks the spot. The road shown is the first RIGHT after you enter the
gate, but you will likely not be able to drive there directly.

MTA claims they will enforce their no-civilian-vehicles policy, so if
you're not in an army truck, be prepared to hike in from general
parking. Tell them you are involved in the MRCA display.

I will be there on Friday to literally stake out our area. I'd like to
get a count of MRCA military vehicles attending. Please email me.

Does one of the vehicles contain an HF rig that we can use for Moose &
Squirrel NCS on Saturday?

The locust trees have not yet bloomed in these parts, so you may need
long underwear if you're spending the day outdoors. (Pennsylvania Dutch
wisdom)

See you there!

Al
