Hello everybody

I have a lea d on this type of antenna base. Of course I don't know any thing and looks are deceiving.

I have a 12 volt converted M38A1 and I want it that way.

These types of antennas were not in service during my service years.

If nothing else antennas are resistance and have differing values(?) , NO I AM NOT A Geek, I am guessing.

During Korea the vehicle a ntenna of choic e was the mount base 65.

T he ground 68 got put up on a tower type base antenna.

They look similar but are they the same as a later version AB 15?

And are these interchangable without any difference in terms of input/output capability and specifically in the connections for the cables?

I was given an AN/PRC 10 TUBE TYPE, I only have the head unit and want to put it running in the M38A1.

I have a line on an AM598/U

All these antennas have different nomenclatures,  are they different?
