[MRCA] Short Range Tactical Comm Ops on Saturday at the MRCA Meet

BlankStarting around 0900 next Saturday morning, after a field kitchen 
breakfast in the Howell Building, one or two person teams will be assigned 
locations within two miles of the Westend Fairgrounds to check out their 
shorter range quick deployment comm gear.  Assignments are typically 30-45 
minutes with contacts back to base and among the other deployed tactical 
comm teams.  Backpack radios, field sets with short verticals, VHF sets, 
SSB, AM, FM.  To simplify operations at the headquarter comm center use 
3875/3885 kHz +/- for HF AM, 5357 kHz for HF USB, 144.25 mHz for 2m AM, 51.0 
mHz for 6m FM and 3570 kHz for CW.  If your field set cannot be configured 
for one of these frequencies make special arrangements with Ted, W3PWW at 
the headquarters station.

Presentations start at 1100 so make your plans accordingly.  That is all !
