[MRCA] Retransmit Project Phase 2

The AM-7239 two radio adapter along with the AM-7238 amplifier lets you run two RT-1439 radios at the same time, one with the high power amplifier and one direct to its own antenna. In that configuration the two separate antennas are only separated by maybe six or eight feet. The low pass filter for the PRC-138 will remove anything that would be in the VHF radios pass band and the antenna tuner for the HF radio will do a good job of removing any VHF component for that radio. Don't think there will be any issue as long as you don't do anything stupid.

Yes! Very important warning. I plan to use this 200W, 25 MHz low pass filter that came with the PRC-138. That should help no?

Anyone know what front end protection exists with the RT-1439 using the AM-7238/39 power amp?

Beware of running high power and having two separate antenna systems, an easy way to blow a front end unless the receiver is protected. Some systems have built in protection - - - I have an HF set on the bench that has front end protection up to 50 volts but I prefer not to test it.
