OK... the Navy ATC unit that came from Moffet Field (with a NASA 
frequency/tuning card dated 1966).  It has the vernier scale and the 
plastic style tag that says the following:

*COL-52286  s/n 66*

Additionally, on one end of the case, there's a yellow painted stamp 
that says: *MODEL 3-1****      51-1431*

On my second unit, one that I believe was a NIB/out-of-the-box ART-13 
when I got it  (Navy also) has the following typical metal tag with the 
following:

*T-47    /ART-13**
**NXsa-44558    2768 :COL*

I've wondered why these tags always have the large space between T-47 
and the /ART-13 lettering?  Finally,  both of these have the MT-283 
aircraft shock-mount.
