PRC-104 would not be my first choice as a pack set. Nor would it be 
among the first 5. They have horrible voice processing, and 
serviceability is nill. Just about any military pack set(including para-military & commercial) is a better performer, and most will cost about 1/2 what a 104 does. About the only thing the 104 has going for it is availability.
