[MRCA] R-392

I picked up a r-392 in working condition. It is missing a allen screw in
the front panel and a Phillips screw on the bottom of the front panel. Also
missing one spare fuse cap. Relatively minor...I think. Overall looks good
too!

The guy who owned it did the solid state mod because of failing tubes and
not wanting to bother with tube replacements. As a purist I'd rather have
tubes it seems like they all I can be found. Is this correct?

Also I see all literature can be found online.

I'd like to have a nicer speaker I've read something about using a
transformer to run a 8 ohm speaker with better sound characteristics.

Also any good homebrew 28 volt power supplies schematics or plans out there?

Last thing I also need to do a PTO alignment previous owner said it wasn't
bad he lived with it. I guess things went off on the top edges of the band.
I've read its a pain but possible if you can follow instructions.
