[MRCA] Post-Vietnam Lowband FM and Sussex Meet

Hi All,

Given the price of almost everything, the weight of some of the packsets,
the added expense of crystals and funky connectors for most, the fact that
some of the units that met price point were not interoperable etc. etc. it
seems the winner is the PRT-4/PRR-9 combo.  The fact that it would be best
outfitted with a brain bucket as an accessory may be a positive as I need
one of those anyway and if my kid beats it up in the woods it will just
make it more "salty" for use in living history activities.

Sure wish I jumped on that $100 PRC-77 I saw at a garage sale a few years
back.

I hope to be able to join the festivities at the Sussex meet.  I always
enjoy the flea market there, and Martin enjoys the vehicles, pop guns, and
occasional helicopter.
