Just diagnosed my T-195 High Voltage Inverter problem. The fan module on one end of the cylindrical housing has a fairly low resistance between the motor windings and the blower housing. This loads down the secondary winding of the inverter transformer that powers it and the inverter won't start. Inverter runs fine with the fan module dismounted from the inverter main assy and connected with jumpers.
There are at least two variants of inverter that were used to replace the high voltage dynamotor. The one I have uses just two power transistors another model uses eight transistors and a different fan module. The blower assy has a phase shifter capacitor affixed to one side of the fan. I have a good capacitor on the faulty fan module should you have a good fan with a faulty cap. The fan module in the low voltage T-195 module may also work.
There have to be some faulty high voltage T-195 inverters out there for parts picking.
