[MRCA] anyone know about this whip?

They are resonant around 2mc. Speculation is that they were intended fore use on the PRC-104 & the PRC-138. The PRC-138 & PRC-150 both have noted problems with tuning a short whips on the lower frequencies. 


This problem was side stepped using this whip & reducing output power on the radio on the lower bands. The issue was addressed & successfully eliminated Harris' just introduced new HF pack set.
