Hi Rob,
I'm not sure exactly what I'll bring along, but I think that getting
back to some low-power op's on 3885 would be a good thing. I'll at
least have the BC-611, but may bring a "medium-power" set like the
SCR-288 or GRC-9. I'll try to fill in the holes based on what others
are bringing.
2-Meters AM: I'll have the Museum's PRC-117D that does a nice job on
AM, and is frequency agile. We can set it up as a base station
full-time monitor it has a noise squelch. We had a conversation on
Moose & Squirrel last week, and the conclusion is that the official MRCA
freq is 144.250. The PRC-117 has 6.25 KHz channel spacing, so for
practical purposes that means 14x.000, .025, .050, .075 etc.
We can also use the 117 to monitor 51 with noise squelch, so we can hear
PRC-6's etc. I think we can make it scan 144.250 AM and 51.0 FM.
I'll, for sure bring one of the SSB packsets.
Rob: Will my 3885 xtal pair help with the DAV?

How about some informal evening AM activity on the Advanced/Extra part
of 75? I have some low power stuff like the Marconi ATR-5 that need
some air time.
