The company that I ordered my latest URC-4 crystal was M and H in
California but they have gone out of business. The URC-4 originally
used a large barrel type crystal a CR-24/U that is no longer
available.
Specifications for military crystals can be found at:
www.euroquartz.co.uk/Portals/0/cr-crystals.pdf
So Look up CR-24/U.
You will probably want to order a crystal with wire leads: I usually
order an HC18/U holder. I have installed larger crystals in the URC-4
for example a crystal in a HC-6 holder where I soldered leads to the
pins and rigged it inside the set but wire leads will make it easier,
it was ugly but worked. Additonal Holder info at:

Your best best is to order from International Crystal and talk with
the Amateur Radio Sales lady, she has an excellent data base - - -
tell her you want a crystal made to CR-24/U specs for the URC-4 radio
but in a different holder.

Also Jan Crystals can supply crystals to military specifications,
you would ask for a crystal made to CR-24/U specs but in a different
holder. They probably do not have anything in their data base on the
radio.

JAN Crystals is cheaper than International. International will get you
closer to frequency however in the URC-4 application of using a
multiplication factor of 4, if the crystal is 1 Kcs off then the final
two meter frequency will be 4 Kcs off which on AM probably will not
make that much difference and is "close enough for Government work".
Order your crystal with wire leads for soldering. There is plenty of
room inside the URC-4 to install the crystal.
