[MRCA] PRC-47 Battery Box Rebuild

I have made up a 50cal ammo can battery back using 4 gel cell batteries
for about 14AH which seems to work pretty well and not too heavy.
  I recently obtained an original battery box/adapter and would like to
ask if anyone has filled one with similar batteries and the AH rating. 
The combination of 2 12v 9AH batteries which won't last long seems to be
the largest AH combination I can find that will fit in the box.
