Hi Z,
That was my "new" TenTec Paragon, the new regulations allowing 100
Watts PEP on my "Lew McCoy: dipole (Dipole long enough to fit between
available supports fed with ladder line going through a tuner into a 4:1
balun) up as high as possible+- 25 feet. The same setup I have used since
April of last year. The solar wind must have been blowing from Portland to
Delaware. My son John (ka3rbj) once worked Louisiana from Portland on a
dummy load. He couldn't understand why he had to repeat several times. He
said after that-I guess that is why it's called a DUMMY load!
Lou

Tuesday 3 April, I spent 10 minutes listening to very weak signals
except for Lou,
then I discovered my 200 foot loop was in the ground position for
static
electricity, ungrounded and signals came up. Lou was very loud.
