[MRCA] Buying Mil-Comm overseas question, any help appreciated.

These guys are all over QRZ, QTH, Craigs list, etc, etc. I get several messages a week from them. If you have ever placed an ad of any kind anywhere on line, you've made yourself a target.

I put my 1963 Power Wagon Ambulance on Craigs list. I was offered $50 to pull the ad immediately & the full price of the truck in advance if I would ship it to his agent! All 7000lbs of it! He emailed three times wanting to know if I was receiving his messages.

A couple weeks before, it was the same thing but regard some welding equipment also on Craigs list.

The story can be easily repeated with both wanted, I for sale listings, on QRZ, & QTH.

Yep, the western union, & canned English were dead giveaways!
