Gang,

In preparation for the Gilbert meet, and at least two Moose & Squirrel 
nets I need to run from the field before then, I threw together a 
60-meter dipole to keep the PRC-2000 happy.  See:

It's 86 feet of commo wire on a PRC-74 dipole fixture.  These come with 
25 feet of RF zip cord with pin plugs on the end.  Fair Radio still has 
them for $8.50.

The whole thing is a foot long and weighs a pound and a half.  I've come 
to appreciate the fieldphone wire: it's light, strong, insulated, and 
resists kinking.
