Will there be a new winner of the  most useless
radio contest or will it still be between Flory
and Smith?

Will there be a  SLS event   at midnight Friday?

Will Al blow up his air mattress at exactly
2220L?

Will John play the honky tonk piano while we
consume vast quantities  of pizza and beer?

Will the base station be set up for the 51.0 push
in time for a talk in Thursday and Friday?

Will Flory bring that , swayed back, dangerous
folding  table and  and over load it with swabbie
boat anchor stuff. Maybe this year for safety he
should string up  yellow "danger" tape around the
display to protect visitors.

Will  eBay "Toober" aka   Bill Donzelli   grace us
with his presence and be selling this year?

Will there be a group picture?

Will Dale organize , plan, and execute numerous
complicated  and intricate field exercises
conducted at even more new  exotic locations?

Will John have antennas  on all 19 of his mounts
on his commo truck.

Will Pat drive his humvee to pizza and have the
APC on display?

Will Dale give some of us a lift  to Studebakers
and let us sit in back of his   ambulance
basking in the red interior lights and  letting
our night vision develop to its full capacity

Will there be ice crème after Studebakers?

Will we have  breakfast  cooked on that giant
field stove that goes swiiiiissssssooohh  when it
ignites just like  the ole  semi reliable J47
engine.

Will the HF antenna  fed with open wire line be
erected  in time or will HF Comm be marginal  this
year?

Will Steve  bring some rare radios for sale?

Will Flory bring 3 different radio systems, each
each set operational and interesting  but each set
crystaled up  on  obscure frequencies that  no one
else has?

Will Dean arrive in style  with the top down
driving his  FSE-35 equipped
convertible?

Will Al bring his box of resistors ???? and the
attaché case full  of test equipment, everything
from a multi meter to 2 Ghz portable
freq counter and will Al be "sorting  things out".

 145 Mc VHF will be popular but will there be UHF
activity again this year 0n 224.999?

Will Pete bring his immaculate type 12 VHF set
with the famous - WB2JWU  receiver dial
modification and that
home brew J pole?

Will Ole Buzzard Rich  bring his commo one truck
outfitted with more radios than Air Force One  and
will the Phantom of Smyrna or Ole Buzzard Rich
set up a  display in the Howard building?

Will there be Thursday evening bargains in the
flea market.

Will the famous Jack Antonio show this year?

Will Rich show  up  and bring his tank?

Will the  famous "Electric Radio" author Joe Long
display  yet another military set  project and use
it as a basis for his next piece in ER?

Will there be any 29  FM activity  with PRC-9's ?
Or AM activity with Village Radios?


Will Chuck bring  and display every Chinese
military set
that was ever manufactured. Will Chuck fly his
airplane inside the Howard Building  just before
the SLS? And most important will he bring me  ice
for my cooler from the motel ice machine?

Will Ted drag that T-195/ R-392  set again and run
that whinnniiing, noisy, T-195 dynamotor at 0500
Saturday  for reveille?

Will Flory lead us in Marine Corps calisthenics
just before the ole mililtary radio net
at 0500 hours.

Will Dave haul in another giant radio set in
numerous heavy containers and leave it sitting in
the Howard
building, all most like the monolith  to taunt us
to see who has
the nerve to open up the boxes and plug it in.

Will the Pepsi machine get in our way this year?

Will Joe Munson show up this year?

Will K4CHE haul a different radio up to the
mountain for a new distance record? Will Pat
bring a wind breaker?

Will Mark consume MRE's.

Will Bob's Mule break down for minor maintenance
and be repaired just in time for a  communications
rendezvous.

Will Roger and Dennis continue to   hold the most
distance traveled record  to attend the MRCA meet.
(Kansas and Colorado).

Will Bill show up in his famous Pirate Hat? And
will Paul light up  and heat  the Taj Mahal tent
and
let it glow and simmer in the dark night of the
meet.

Will there be zombies walking the flea market at
oh dark thirty Saturday  looking for all the good
deals?
