[MRCA] BAD BCD Switches in FT-70, Pictures uploaded

Two pictures provided by Charlie KA1GON illustrate the fact that ALL the original gray colored BCD frequency selection switches on Yaesu FT-70 transceivers are now, or shortly will be, bad!

These switches are not dirty, they a falling apart. When manufactured, a lubricant was used that was later found to be corrosive. Now after 30 years the conductive material is flaking off.


Those radios with black colored switches have been replaced & are are good.
