Thanks for the info on Mindy.

On the TG-5, it just seems like a box w/o a mission to me in the WW II
setting.

A tank radio is pretty obvious. Ditto an ARC-5. Ditto a BD-70 or an EE-8.

I just don't see, for example, a TG-5 being used to order up stores from
the rear or command artilliary battery or tanks. To me, it seems to be a
box w/o a defined mission.

There are provisions in the BD-70 and even in the later SB-022 for them, BTW.
