Well, I guess I am even more fortunate that I thought.  I've never had 
an issue with bringing stuff home or shipped in.  Quite the contrary.  
At one hamfest, my XYL saw that I was examining some sort of treasure 
very closely and querying the seller as to price.   I passed on the 
offer and moved down the line of tail-gaters.  My wife tapped my 
shoulder and presented me with that item.  Apparently, she was able to 
haggle better that I had and got the it for less that I offered!  When I 
take major stuff to sell she always asks, going out the door,  if I 
/really/ want to sell it, or not.  As was mentioned in another post, my 
wife, too, is from another part of the world.
