[MRCA] Excuses

Hi Gang,
I can always say it is for my son but that doesn't always work. MY
wife retired in July so the only way I can get it by her is to "camp" at the
front door and wait for the UPS or FedEx guy. I live in a very small town
and we don't get our mail delivered. A couple of weeks ago I got several
boxes of ammunition that required a signature. She signed for it and her
words were "What did you buy now"? I guess wives are all the same the world
over. Mine came from halfway around the world and she is no different. I had
my PRC 47 delivered to my friend KB3UOU's QTH. He lives 2 miles away, is
single and is away all week.

LOU

My apologies to N3FRQ and those on the net today for missing my turn
during the second go around. The mailman was out in the driveway with a
not so happy look on his face as he was trying to pull a box out from
the back of his truck. It was the PRC-47 I bought. Then I had some
"splainin" to do with the wife when I got back in!
Why are these deliveries always made when she's home?

73,
Jon WS1K

Greatest excuse ever !

Once had 4 buddies with a truck and landscape trailer with a lathe on it
appear when I thought the Mrs. was not going to be home. You should have
heard her eyeballs rolling.
