Al,
I personally like the time, as it enables me to operate portable while public
parks are open. Some of the other nets (Old Military Radio Net & 40M USB Net)
occur between dusk and dawn, when public parks are closed. Perhaps we could
keep the time and sample several different bands during the next net to see
which one works best? Perhaps 7296.0, 14.345.2, and 18.157.5? We might
even find some more distant stations joining the net.

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt
should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and
controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome
become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public
assistance."

Breck and the Gang,
Conditions have been deteriorating for a couple of week now. My personal
situation is complicated by a change of QTH and noise in the city.
KA1GON and I tried 75-meters after Saturdays net. It was perhaps a
little worse than 60.
If anyone has a suggestion for an alternate band or time of day for
Moose and Squirrel, speak up.
