[MRCA] Bren-Tronics PP-8498/U Battery Charger

I have the Bren-Tronics PP-8498/U battery charger can be used to charge a number of batteries of varying chemistry including BB390, BB2590, BB388, BB516, BB503, BB2847, BB557, BB2600, and BB2800.

I would like to use this charger to charge additional batteries (i.e. the BB2598).  The charger can be reprogramming via the RS232 serial port to accomodate additional batteries.  Is anyone on this list familiar with the reprogramming procedure or the software required to reprogram the charger?
