Thanks for the excellent word-picture, Breck.
It provided a vicarious experience while reading.

Have been trying to figure out a way to get
there for the past five years but the USS LST325
cruises seem to occurs simultaneously, and
operating WW2LST is just a small part of my
responsibility on the ship.

At least I can work all my MRCA friends on
the air, (and Dale did visit the LST while
it was in Pittsburgh, thanks to his daughter
living there)...but your word-picture tops it off.
