Hi Guys,

Patrick Hare, an Associate Producer for National Geographic Television
in Washington DC, wrote me a note and said they are producing a new
National Geographic documentary on the atom bomb mission, with a
re-creation shoot the week of April 5th. They are
currently acquiring props and costumes, and want the accessories to be
as accurate as possible. That said, does anyone in the Washington
DC/Virginia/Maryland area have a pair of these common headsets that they
would be willing to loan for the shoot? A CD-307 for each one would be
useful as well. I'm a 4 hour round trip from DC, so logistics becomes a
problem given the tight schedule, and in any case all of mine have the
NAF-48490-1 chamois ear cushions that were certainly available but not
documented as being on the Enola Gay on 6 August. I think they would be
happy to get a couple with the usual black rubber ear cushions of either
style.

Let me know if you are interested in helping, and I'll give you
Patrick's e-mail address.

73,
Mike KC4TOS
